You can see the castle from your room if you are lucky enough. It's near the main attractions and the shinkansen station. There's an eel restaurant nearby (jimpachi). You can have breakfast before you leave

The quality of breakfast was incredible it was Japanese cuisine cooked real! Not instant food. And free draft beer and Japanese curry for the evening! Amazing!

Next to station, lots of shops around. Free car park.
